Highlanders FC coaches get three-match ultimatum

The coaching staff of Highlanders FC have been given a final demand of terms in the club’s next three games.

Mandla Lulu Mpofu, Bekithemba Super Ndlovu and goalkeeper coach Tembo Chuma have been ordered to collect at least six points in Bosso’s next three games.

The troubled trio’s situation was invited after the loss 2-1 loss Caps United and a narrow 1-0 home defeat to Harare City - leaving Bosso to linger around relegation danger.

The ultimatum was confirmed by a club insider, and will apply not later than today as Highlanders take on Triangle United at Gibbo Stadium.

The other two fixtures will be at home to Mushowani before an away trip to face Hwange. “The executive has cracked the whip, if the coaches fail to meet the set target, sadly, they will go, all of them not just the head coach,” the source said via The Chronicle.

Mpofu, formely the club's captain, has only been in charge since July 3 after rising up from an assistant position to take over the departed Madinda Ndlovu
