Days after leaving Malaga, Shinji Okazaki has signed for Spanish second-tier club SD Huesca.
Okazaki was released by Premier League side Leicester City this summer and joined Malaga. However, on Monday, the 33-year-old canceled his contract with Malaga after 34 days, without making a competitive appearance. The Japanese had signed a one year deal in July but he was released because Malaga couldn't register him without breaching their salary cap.
It didn’t take long for Okazaki before finding a new club, with Huesca taking him on for this season with the option for another campaign.
He made 137 appearances in all competitions for City, scoring 19 goals.
