Juan Mata reveals what Manchester United are lacking this season

Following their poor start to the season Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has revealed that the club has lacked the killer instinct to secure wins.

Mata made his first United start of the season in the 1-1 draw at Southampton on Saturday as the Red Devils made it three games without a win. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team has lost points from winning positions twice this season against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton.

In his weekly blog, Mata revealed what United are lacking this season, "In my opinion, you have to look at things by taking a step back from the games themselves, above all in order to improve. I believe that at the start of this season we are lacking killer instinct to secure more wins, which is something we obviously need to improve and it’s what we will be working on."
