Senegal striker Demba Ba has revealed why he did not take his professional football career to the Italia Serie A.
His reaction was coming after Belgium international Romelu Lukaku was racially abused during a Seria game at Cagliari.
Ba said the problem of racism in the country, was why he refused to play in Italy even when he could.
“And here’s the reason why I decided not to play there when I could… And at that point, I wish all the black players would get out of this league!
“Surely it won’t stop their stupidity and hate but at least they won’t affect other races.”
Lukaku scored the winner via penalty as Inter Milan beat Cagliari 2-1 at the weekend, but a section of Cagliari fans aimed monkey chants at the 26-year-old.
