Chiyangi names 24-man squad for CHAN preps

Zambia national team interim coach Aggrey Chiyangi has named a 24 man squad for preparations ahead of the CHAN 2020 final round qualifier match against Eswatini.

Chiyangi has drafted new players to the squad to join the core of the 2019 COSAFA Cup-winning squad. Red Arrows duo of George Simbayambaya and Paul Katema together with Kabwe Warriors Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba and Mufulira Wanderers Nchimunya Munene have all been handed call ups.

Some players from Zanaco and Zesco United have been excused from this week's camp due to their club participation in CAF games. Zambia will be away to eSwatini on 20 September for the final qualifying round for Cameroon 2020 CHAN.
