Egyptian club finally respond to John Avire's transfer saga from Sofapaka

The transfer saga involving John Avire may soon come to an end with the Egyptian outfit Tanta FC drafting a letter to Sofapaka FC to open negotiations for the forward.

Avire was center of convrovesy after the African Cup of Nations when he terminated his contract with Sofapaka on grounds of salary arreas. He was soon then granted entry to Egypt by the then FKF CEO Mr. Robert Muthomi to watch the remaining African Cup of Nations games alongside Augustine Ramaita.

The letter landed Mr. Muthomi in hot soup leading to his stepping aside. Almost two months after the saga Tanta have now written to Sofapaka, expressing their willingness to barry the hatched and negotitate a deal over Avire.
