KCB goalkeeper out for four weeks

KCB goalkeeper Peter Manyika is set to be on the sidelines for up to four weeks with a fractured finger.

The Tanzanian international fractured his finger during a training session and is set to be out for a month, the club confirmed via its Twitter account. He will miss KCB’s home KPL match against newly-promoted side Kisumu All-Stars as well as away trip to defending champions Gor Mahia. Manyika will also sit out matches against Kakamega Homeboyz and Nzoia United but could be available for selection when his side travel to face Ulinzi Stars on October 19th, 2019.

The Bankers had a perfect start to the current campaign as they beat Sony Sugar 3-0 at Green Stadium.
