Following his move to Inter Milan, Romelu Lukaku has admitted the club discovered an issue with his digestive system after he completed a transfer from Manchester United.
The Belgian came under fire for his fitness and professionalism towards the end of last season, with Gary Neville particularly critical of his weight. Lukaku joined Inter Milan on transfer deadline day after being sidelined by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but has already scored two goals in two games for the Italian giants.
After losing 10 pounds in a space of 12 days since joining Inter, Lukaku admitted that a digestive problem was discovered in his system, "Normally I have a fine digestive system. I digest everything very quickly. That's how it had been my entire life. But what the nutritionist said to me was, it had stopped working. I'm good now. My body is in the zone."
Inter Milan next face Udinese on Saturday 13th September at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in a 9:45 PM (EAT) kick-off.
