Sofapaka FC midfielder Elly Asieche belives Ulinzi Stars will be a hard nut to crack when both sides meet in week two of KPL action.
Sofapaka v Ulinzi is one of the matches that is being highly anticipated this weekend and according to Asieche whose team begun the season with a loss to Posta Rangers, the tie against soldiers won’t be an easy one though they had trained well for the past two weeks.
“It will not be easy because Ulinzi is a very tough team. But we have trained well for the past two weeks, focused on our weak areas and also tried to gel as a team because we have very many new players,” Aieche is quoted by the club’s website.
Everything ahs Worked
He added: “Everything has worked well and now we are more cohesive and the unity in the team is coming up very well.
“It wasn’t the start we anticipated but we have to put that behind us and focus on the game on Saturday. It will be important for us to get three points because we can’t do the same mistakes, we did last season by starting poorly.”
The game will be hosted at the Afraha Stadium on Saturday 14 September from 3 pm EAT.
