Gor Mahia picked up their second win of the season to maintain their 100% start with a 2-1 victory over KCB in a Kenyan Premier League game staged at the Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.
Ghanaian import Francis Afriyie who was signed from Mexican side Murciélagos got off the mark with his 12th-minute strike. Gor Mahia doubled their lead two minutes after the half-hour mark when Lawrence Juma also scored his first KPL goal with a thunderbolt from just outside the 18-yard area.
The win takes Steven Polack's men to just a point behind table-toppers Kakamega Homeboyz with a game in hand.
