AFC Leopards handed Chemelil Sugar a footballing lesson on Sunday afternoon, blanking them 4-0 in a Kenya Premier League match played at the Mumias Complex.
A brace from John Makwatta and a goal each from Soter Kayumba and Tresor Ndikumana were all Leopards needed to see off the Sugarmen, who were reduced to 10 men in the last minute of action.
Kayumba and Makwata gave the Leopards a comfortable 2-0 lead going into the break, before grabbing two more goals after the break.
This was Ingwe's second win in a row, having beaten Wazito FC 1-0 last time out.
Leopards missed the services of defender Robert Mudenyu and forward Ismail Diarra, who picked injuries during mid-week training sessions.
This is their second win having lost against Kakamega Homeboyz in their opening match, before a 0-0 draw against Kariobangi Sharks in their second match.
The win temporarily took them to second spot on the standings on seven points, one behind Western Stima, who are atop the standings on eight points.
