Zanaco performance impresses Numba

Sensational Zanaco head coach Numba Mumamba was left very impressed with his side following their 3-0 win over Bolton City of Mauritius to book a place in the CAF Confederation Cup playoff round.

Numba however still felt his team were not clinical enough in front of goal as they could have scored more goals. He has however pledged to work on that in training to improve the conversion rate.

"I think we have done well in today's game. We struggled on Wednesday but today (Saturday) we saw great improvement, We saw good tactical discipline and good organization and that is what has made a difference," he said.

"I think we were not clinical cause we could have scored more than the three goals but that happens in football. we just have to go back to training and work on our finishing."

"We have to work in all departments. We saw some lapses and as coaches that where we come in to try and help make a better Zanaco," he added.

Emmanuel Okutu, Guily Manziba, and Damanino Kola scored a goal each to guide Zanaco to a 3-0 win on the afternoon a 5-1 on aggregate to progress to the next of the 2019/2020 CAF Confederation Cup.
