Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard has admitted he has not quite lived to the expectations since joining from Chelsea in the summer.
The Belgian ace has been criticised in some quarters over his poor displays in the famous Madrid jersey, having joined the camp recently following an injury.
Hazard, who has in the past lit Stamford Bridge with mesmerizing performances made his first appearance in Madrid's 3-2 win over Levante and made his first start against PSG in the 3-0 loss in the Champions League, where he disappointed.
Speaking before their match against Club Brugge on Tuesday night, Hazard said he will put in more work to get better.
“I’m not a Galactico yet," he said. "I have to show that I can be one. We all know the history of the number 7 [shirt] at this club and I want to show that I can be the best in the world.
"I want to give my all, not just in matches but in training too.”
“I can do better," he said. "I’m critical of myself as well, but working every day we will change things,"
"Not everything is perfect but we’re first in La Liga, we lost in Paris, maybe I was set back because of the injury but now I’m at 100% and hope to give my all in the coming games,"
The pressure has been mounting on the little, Belgian magician, with coach Zinedine Zidane saying everyone is expecting him to start scoring.
The Frenchman will most likely give him time to adapt to life at the club.
