🏆 Barcelona 2-1 Inter: How did we rate the players?

Barcelona continued their formidable home record in the Champions League by coming from behind and weathering an Inter Milan storm to beat the current Serie A leaders 2-1 at Camp Nou.

So, how did we rate the players on a night when South American stars stole the show?

🔴 Barcelona (4-3-1-2)

Marc-Andre Ter Stegen 7
Made a fine save to deny Martinez, had no chance with the early Inter goal

Sergi Roberto 5
Struggled going forward and didn't impact the match

Gerard Pique 5
Could have done better for the goal and was booked. Average display

Clement Lenglet 6
Had a poor game and was muscled off the ball by Martinez frequently

Nelson Semedo 6.5
Showed good chemistry on the left flank with Ousmane Dembele and did well in an unfamiliar position

Sergio Busquets 5
Off the pace and Barcelona improved when he was substituted

Arthur Melo 7
Dropped deeper in the second half and improved after Busquets was withdrawn

Frenkie De Jong 6.5
Solid throughout and always has an impeccable first touch. Grew into the game in the second half as he operated more centrally as a playmaker

Lionel Messi 7.5
Quiet first 70 minutes from the Great Man but he exploded into the last quarter and brilliantly set up the decisive goal

Luis Suarez 8.5
Had a pretty poor game but two world-class strikes settled the contest. The Uruguayan is still one of the best strikers in the world

Antoine Griezmann 5
Worked hard but battled to have any impact on the game at all

Arturo Vidal 8
The Chilean completely changed the game when he was introduced, wreaking havoc with Inter's defensive shape. He was truly the catalyst for Barca's fightback

⚫️ Inter (3-1-4-2)

Samir Handanovic 6
Made some routine saves but had no chance with either of the goals

Diego Godín 6.6
Quality display until he lost Suarez for the winner

Stefan De Vrij 7
Rugged and uncompromising, enjoyed his battle with Suarez throughout the 90

Milan Škriniar 7
Managed to contain Messi for most of the match until the Argentine but lost him for the all-important winner

Marcelo Brozović 6.5
Protected his back three well and denied Messi space, but struggled once Arturo Vidal was introduced

Antonio Candreva 6.5
Good delivery from right fullback and assisted Godin in getting on top of Griezmann on that flank

Nicolò Barella 6
Had a good first half but was crowded out of the contest in the second period by Arthur and De Jong

Stefano Sensi 6.5
Looked sharp and busy in midfield, but faded in the second half

Kwadwo Asamoah 6
Defended well but offered almost nothing going forward

Alexis Sánchez 7
Some brilliant touches against his old club and assisted the goal. Faded out of the contest but don't write off Alexis Sanchez just yet, especially when he returns to peak fitness

Lautaro Martínez 8
Brilliant and tireless display from the talented 22-year-old Argentinian scored after a fine run and should have scored a second from a header
