Victor Wanyama part of the Tottenham Hotspur clear out planned by Mauricio Pochettino

According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is planning a major clear out in the January transfer window that includes five stars.

Spurs are enduring a torrid start to the season after losing three games already which included their embasaring 3-0 loss at the hands of Brighton and Hove Albion. The loss was preceded by a 7-2 thumping by Bayern Munich in the Champions League where they have picked up only a single point.

According to the Times, Eric Dier will be among the casualties placed on the transfer list, along with wantaway stars Christian Eriksen and Danny Rose, as well as misfits Serge Aurier and Victor Wanyama. With Harry Winks being in form and the arrival of Tanguy Ndombele have further pushed Wanyama down in the pecking order.

Eriksen's contract is set to expire at the end of the season and Spurs are keen to get something out of his sale after making his intentions clear of leaving the club in the summer transfer window.
