Kenyan Premier League side Bandari FC has left for Tanga after their Saturday defeat at the hands of Simba SC in Dar Es Salaam-Tanzania.
The team has been using the International break to engage in friendlies as they bid to be fit for their CAF Confederations and Kenyan Premier League campaign.
In Tanga, Bandari will take on Coastal Union in a friendly clash on Coastal Union in another friendly on Monday 14 October.
The Coastal side has started the season brightly after making it past the first two rounds of the CAF Confederations Cup and is slated to take on Guinea giants Horoya FC in the competitions Playoff; the same stage seeing their Kenyan counterparts Gor Mahia up against DR Congo’s Motema Pembe.
In the league, the team is currently on eighth position after managing seven points but has played a game less; a tie they will hope to win in their bid to keep the leading pack at bay.
The lads have left Dar es salam and headed to Tanga, where we are scheduled to have a friendly match against Tanzanian based side Coastal Union, tomorrow!— Bandari FC (@BandariOfficial) October 13, 2019
We would like to extend our gratitude to our friends Simba SC and the people of Dar! Until we meet again!
