Shikhalo starts as Harambee Stars team to face Mozambique is named

Yanga SC shot-stopper Farouk Shikhalo will be the man between the sticks when Harambee Stars takes on Mozambique on Sunday 13 October at the MISC Kasarani.

In what will be his second game since taking charge, head coach Francis Kimanzi has once again tasked Kariobangi Sharks defender Samuel Olwande with the right-back duties as youngster Joseph Okumu comes into partner Joash Onyango in defense; Vasalund IF defender Eric Ouma completing the defensive unit.

Wanyama returns

Captain Victor Wanyama returns to the midfield with Gor Mahia duo of Kenneth Muguna and Lawrence Juma as his partners.

Clifton Miheso and Egypt based Cliff Nyakeya will be troubling the visitors from the with Michael Olunga being the main striker.

Yusuf Mainge, Anthony Akumu, and Haroun Shakava are some of the players who will hope to make an impact from the bench.
