Struggling Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side SoNy Sugar have dished out their second walkover of the new season, as financial struggles continue biting hard.
SoNy was scheduled to face Tusker FC at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos at 10 am, but according to a Futaa source, the team will not make it for the clash.
Their efforts to have the match postponed was rebuffed by the Kenya Premier League, who have insisted all matches should be honoured.
The Millers handed AFC Leopards a walkover before the international break after they failed to travel to Awendo for the clash.
Many clubs have voiced their frustrations over lack of financial support, with many of them calling for the league to be suspended.
The ruling body has however insisted the league will go on as planned, despite the growing calls to halt the planned matches.
The League was thrown into a financial conundrum following the exit of title sponsors SprotPesa, who exited the market citing 'hostile regulatory environment'.
