Ivorian striker Yikpe Gnamien has been handed his Gor Mahia league debut in the club's Sunday clash against Kariobangi Sharks.
Yikpe has been nursing an injury since he joined the club before the start of the season and his inclusion comes at a time when a few faces are missing in the first team.
Captain Muguna and defender Joash Onyango are not in the matchday squad with Gor Mahia handing Joakim Oluoch (who will captain the side in the game) a starting berth at the heart of the defence alongside Charles Momanyi.
David Mapigano continues to be the man tasked in keeping the Sharks shots out with Boniface Oluoch being his understudy. Wellington Ochieng and Geoffrey Ochieng will be manning the right and left backs respectively with Tobias Otieno screening the back four.
Yikpe is joined by Clifton Miheso and Boniface Omondi in the attack. Dickson Ambundo and Francis Afriyie are both on the bench so is Kennedy Otieno.
