Harambee Stars players Michael Olunga and Ayub Timbe were on the scoresheet as Kenyan players abroad continued to feature for their clubs abroad.

Winger Timbe put his name on the scoresheet as Beijing Renhe threw a 2-0 lead to be held to a 2-2 draw by Tiajin Tianhai in a Chinese Super League clash on Sunday

Olunga, on the other hand, bagged a brace and provided an assist as Kashiwa Reysol emerged 4-0 winners over Avispa Fukuoka in a Japanese J2 League clash.

In Sweden, On Sunday, midfielder Eric Johanna amassed full minutes as IF Bromma battled to a 1-1 draw against leaders Vargerb in the Superettan.  The win sees Bromma rise out of the relegation zone to the playoff positions and just four points below the safety position.

Ovella Missing

In the Swedish Division One, it was another clean sheet for left-back Eric Ouma as IF Vasalund ran 2-0 winners over visitors Forward. Anthony Wambani too amassed the full minutes with Ochieng Ovella who is still recovering for an injury missing the tie.

Defender Joseph Okumu will hope he can feature when his IF Elfsborg host IFK Goteborg on Monday in the Swedish top flight.

In Georgia, Kenyan midfielder John Macharia managed 72 minutes as Guria FC went 2-0 down at the hands of Gagra. There was no action for Amos Nondi as Dila Gori lost by a solitary goal to Lokomotivi Tiblisi with Alwyne Tera Misiko featuring for FC Saburtalo in their scoreless draw against Dinamo Tbilisi.

There was no action for captain Victor Wanyama as Tottenham Hotspurs lost their lead to go down 2-1 at the hands of Liverpool at Anfield.

In Zambia, Anthony Akumu scored a rare goal as Zesco United emerged 2-1 winners over Kansanshi Dynamos. It was another 90 minutes for goalkeeper Ian Otieno as Red Arrows were held to a 1-1 draw by hosts Lusaka Dynamos.

In Tanzania, goalkeeper Faruk Shikhalo was the man between the posts as Yanga SC recorded a 2-1 defeat at the visiting Pyramids in the CAF Confederations Cup PlayOff.
