Highlanders coach Hendrik Pieter de Jongh has slammed Dynamos for alleged poor hospitality and hosting.
The Dutchman took Highlanders to the Rufaro Stadium on Sunday for a 1-1 draw, Tinashe Makanda’s 71st minute opener was canceled by an equalizer from Evans Katema. But what happened before the game left de Jongh fuming in disbelief.
“How is it possible that we had to spend 35 minutes out of the stadium,” said de Jongh via Soccer24.
“I have never seen that in my life, it’s a lack of organisation. It’s not possible that you stay 35 minutes outside the stadium and the gates are not opened.”
“Football is for the fans and has to be played on good ground, on a good pitch. This pitch is so bad and it doesn’t make it possible for good football,” added the coach.
Up next for Boss is a Chibuku Cup semi-finals clash. Highlanders will be away at ZPC Kariba.
