Exclusive @BILD_Sport : Ralf Rangnick declines the negotiations with FC Bayern. Now Arsene Wenger is the absolute favorite for the job as the Coach of Bayern— Christian Falk (@cfbayern) November 6, 2019
That's according to Christian Falk from BILD Sport.
Wenger has emerged as the outright favourite after Ralf Rangnick today ruled himself out of the running and Bayern is moving swiftly to find a replacement after relieving Kovac of his duties on Sunday.
Bayern is thought to be keen to appoint Wenger until the end of the current season, and then explore whether one of their long-term targets, such as Ajax’s Erik ten Hag or Paris St-Germain’s Thomas Tuchel, is available for the role on a longer-term basis.
This is definitely a story we will be watching closely.
