English Championship club West Brom are delighted with defender Semi Ajayi's performance during the international break.
Ajayi was in action as Nigeria came from behind to beat Lesotho 4-2 in a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
West Brom on Monday wrote on their website the importance of the defender to the country.
“Semi Ajayi played a full game for Nigeria as they came from behind to beat Lesotho 4-2 in an AFCON qualifier, second successive victory for Semi.”
The 26-years-old has been in fine form for the club scoring two goals in 17 matches, a performance which saw him being picked by Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, ahead of Leganes defender, Kenneth Omeruo.
