There was drama galore at the Türk Telekom Stadium last night as Club Brugge snatched a 1-1 draw against Galatasaray from the jaws of defeat.
Krepin Diatta was a central figure in the dying stages of the match, scoring in stunning fashion in the 92nd minute.
Diatta's Brugge side has secured their place in Europa League football in 2020 after his last-gasp equalizer but the 20-year-old was then sent off for a second yellow card after removing his shirt in celebration, along with teammate Clinton Mata who also got a second booking after damaging the corner flag.
Despite being reduced to nine men, Brugge celebrated the result as if it were a win and they'll drop down to the Europa League knockout stages at the start of 2020. Importantly, though, they've secure more European football.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray drops out of Europe altogether.
