Our Absa Premiership returns this weekend after the previous week was all taken by the Telkom Knockout semis. Futaa looks at the games to enjoy this weekend!

The next 72 hours will bring some football Pretoria, Polokwane, Thohoyandou, Durban and Cape Town.

Friday 6 December

    • SuperSport United vs Highlands Park: 20:00

SuperSport have been the dark horses to win this title. Kaitano Tembo’s side sit second on the log with five games unbeaten. A win over Park tonight reduce Chiefs' lead to seven points.

Saturday 7 December

  • Baroka FC vs Orlando Pirates: 15:30

Wedson Nyirenda’s side are looking for their first win in three outings. Pirates are in the way and travel to Limpopo in the spirit of “operation festive season.” According to Rhulani Mokwena the expression is a determination to win all Bucs’ December games as a Christmas present to the fans.

  • Black Leopards vs AmaZulu: 15:30

Luc Eymael’s Leopards have desperate and dangerous visitors in town. AmaZulu are in an early fight to steer far off the relegation zone.

  • Cape Town City vs Chippa United: 18:00

City’s new man Jan Olde Riekerink wants his first win after three attempts. But Chippa are already fighting for their lives at the bottom and new coach Norman Mapeza is working intensely.

  • Kaizer Chiefs vs Bloemfontein Celtic: 20:00

Everyone knows Chiefs are the best team in Mzansi soil right now. However, Celtic will want to say “yes, best team in SA but not in Bloemfontein.”

  • Polokwane City vs Maritzburg United: 15:30
