Zambia Super League side Nkana Football club have part ways with their head coach Beston Chambeshi.
The club confirmed the development in a statement made available to Futaa Zambia.
"Beston Chambeshi has mutually separated from Nkana Football Club. Mr. Chambeshi joined Nkana for a second stint in July 2016, which year Nkana finished third on the FAZ/MTN Super League."
During his tenure, Chambeshi took Nkana to their first-ever Barclays cup title in 2018 as well as the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederations cup in 2019.
Nkana president Evaristo Kabila has thanked Mr. Chambeshi for the services he rendered to the club and wished him well in his future endeavors.
"Coach Beston is not just a coach, he is a legend at this club. He has given his all to this great club and we are just wishing him the best success in his future endeavors," Kabila said.
Assistant coach Manfred Chabinga will continue acting as head coach until further notice.
