Red Arrows head coach Chisi Mbewe revealed that his side is targeting finishing the first half of the season I'm the top four to qualify for the ABSA Cup.
Chisi Mbewe was speaking after his side played out to a one-all draw with Green Eagles on Saturday.
" We have to finish the first half where we are because we want to qualify for the ABSA cup and continental football," he said.
Chisi was also quick to praise his team for following their game plan when playing a well organized Kawale Boys side.
"I want to give the credit to the team because this is the way we planned, We knew that it was not going to be easy playing a well organized Green Eagles at home. They have been playing high standard football. We played according to the way we planned though we targeted a win."
His Eagles counterpart Aggrey Chiyangi reiterated his team's ambitions to play Continental football.
"There is nothing we can fight for apart from playing Continental football and that's what we are fighting for," he said.
Amity Shamende put Eagles in the lead just after three minutes while Veteran striker James Chamanga leveled matters in the 30th minute to make sure the two teams shared the spoils.
