Former German youth international Pascal Gross has revealed that Brighton & Hove Albion will attempt to put on a good performance against Crystal Palace as they will be without midfield maestro Dale Stephens.
Stephens picked up his fifth yellow card of the season for his challenge on winger Adama Traore in the side's 2-2 draw to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The booking means that he will not be available for selection againsts Palace and that may come as a loss for Brighton.
“He’s a really big miss for us," Gross said.
“He is important for us but we hope that on that day he will not be a big miss.
“That is what we will try to do, that will be what we have to do.
“As a squad, everybody wants to show their quality.
“He is a very important player for us but on this day, hopefully, we can also show that we can play without him.”
