Ahead of Arsenal's trip to the London Stadium to face West Ham United, Freddie Ljungberg has been handed a blow as Rob Holding is unlikely to feature due to an injury.
Holding is yet to feature for Arsenal since the November international break and has struggled for game time this season due to injuries, managing just 77 minutes of Premier League action.
The former Bolton Wanderers defender has been instrumental for the Gunners with the little game time he has had as he has only been on the losing side once this season.
Arsenal have had defensive issues this campaign with Shkodran Mustafi having a poor game against Norwich City and Sokratis Papastathopoulos and David Luiz struggling for consistency.
The Gunners meanwhile have Dani Ceballos sidelined with a hamstring injury and is yet to return to training a month after limping out of a 1-1 draw with Vitoria in the Europa League.
West Ham United have their own share of injury problems with Lukasz Fabianski (hip), Manuel Lanzini (shoulder) ruled out of the clash whilst Jack Wilshere (groin) and Winston Reid (knee) are doubts.
