πŸ”΄ Arsenal's seven fixtures before the international break

The Gunners finally ended their long winless streak by claiming three points at West Ham United last night in the Premier League.

Ljungberg's men had to come from behind after a poor first-half display, scoring three times inside nine second-half minutes to condemn West Ham to another defeat and elevate themselves back into the top half of the table.

Arsenal now faces a string of seven matches inside 26 days spanning three different competitions, namely a final group stage match in the Europa League next, five Premier League clashes and an FA Cup third-round encounter with Leeds United in early January.

🗓 Arsenal's next seven assignments

  • 12 December: Standard Liège (A)
  • 15 December: Man City (H)
  • 21 December: Everton (A)
  • 26 December: Bournemouth (A)
  • 29 December: Chelsea (H)
  • 1 January: Man United (H)
  • 6 January: Leeds United (H)

The much-needed win at the London Stadium last night won't detract from the fact that they face a daunting schedule in the month that follows. Arsenal needs to win in Belgium to secure top spot in Europa League Group F and then champions Manchester City visit the Emirates Stadium this Sunday.

A trip to Bournemouth the following weekend provides a good opportunity to pick up three points, and then the real crunch tests come, in the shape of home matches against Chelsea and Manchester United, two sides also chasing European places.
