Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor have joined the race for Nigerian midfielder Jesse Sekidika ahead of the January transfer window.
The 23-year old has found his form this season scoring eight goals in 14 games and has provided two assists for Eskisehirspor in the Turkish first lig.
While Galatasaray have since indicated their interest to sign the attacking midfielder for a fee of between 450,000-500,000 euros, Trabzonspor are looking to snatch the deal with a one million euros offer, according to Sporx.
Jesse has made the headlines in top Turkish media outlets for his remarkable improvement and scoring ability.
His contract at Eskisehirspor ends in the summer of 2020.
If the deal becomes successful, he will be joining compatriots John Obi Mikel and Ogenyi Onazi at Trabzonspor.
