Following an inspiring second half that saw Manchester United beat AZ Alkmaar 4-0, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed that he urged his players to be more aggressive and have urgency.
United were lethargic in the first half as they went into the half time break locked in a barren draw, but came back strong in the second half to score four goals in 11 minutes.
The win means United, who claimed 13 points from their six games, will be seeded for the round-of-32 knockout draw on Monday.
Speaking in a press conference after the win over Alkmaar, Solskjaer revealed his half time team talk, "There weren't any cups flying.
"We just had to get the troops together and get back to what we're good at, more aggressive, more urgency without the ball and more composure on the ball, because we were slow off the ball first-half and too rash, just giving the ball away.
"What did I say? Be more us, more Man United. They've done great, the boys. And the team in Astana as well, that's the only game we've conceded in, and that's something we're proud of.
"There are so many games in this league, in December, 11 in 34 days, so to have such a squad that you can change nine and win 4-0 is a great testament to the players I have."
