Everton have been dealt a major blow ahead of their visit to Old Trafford, with news that they will miss the services of Theo Walcott and Morgan Schneiderlin.
Both players have suffered calf injuries, with Walcott expected to be out for three weeks and Schneiderlin for a fortnight.
There was however a piece of good news for the team, with Furguson revealing that Seamus Coleman, Yerry Mina and Fabian Delph have resumed light training over the past three days and their fitness will be assessed ahead of the trip to Old Trafford.
The caretaker boss added he is "hopeful" Lucas Digne will be fit after the Frenchman took part in training on Friday.
Walcott and Schneiderlin were impressive in the Toffees' 3-1 win over Chelsea last weekend, in what was Duncan Furguson's first match in charge.
Everton have endured a torrid campaign in the Premier League, and are currently 14th on the log after 16 games.
They sacked coach Marco Silva following the poor results, with Furguson taking charge on an interim basis.
They trave to face an in-form Manchester United side that has won three matches on the row in all competitions, with two of those being massive wins over Tottenham and Manchester City.
