Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar has filed a fresh lawsuit against former club Barcelona.
The suit was filed by the Brazilian to demand a whopping three million euros of an alleged unpaid wages from his previous spell at the Spanish club, a judicial source said Friday.
NDTV Sports reports that Neymar alleges Barcelona withheld part of his salary when he left Camp Nou to join the French side in 2017.
Neymar's shock transfer to PSG for a then-world record 222 million euros ($250 million at the time) came less than a year after he signed a contract that would have kept him at the Spanish club until 2021.
According to an El Mundo report, the 27-year-old Brazilian claimed that Barcelona "did not pay him his final salary as a 'reprisal' for having claimed his extension bonus".
NDTV added that Barcelona have already been sued by Neymar who demanded a payment of 65.4 million euros which he negotiated with the club in 2016 as exchange for the extension of his contract until 2021.
Barcelona have already counter-sued Neymar to demand a 20.75m euros initially paid to him as the court has not issued a ruling on the matter.
