Burundi came into the second half a different team and was to reduce the arrears just a minute after resumption to ensure a frantic end to the game but Kenya were to hold on for their second win of the campaign.
Kenya started her campaign in the tournament with a 14-0 win over Djibouti but was to be held by Eritrea in their second game. A loss against Tanzania ensued in their third game before their win today.
