France midfielder N’Golo Kante is ready to leave Chelsea at the end of the season as he eyes a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
A series of UK tabloids report that Kante has a desire for a new challenge after he looks to leave Stamford Bridge and work with former France international Zinedine Zidane.
Kante is regarded as one of the best midfielders currently in world football and has been a revelation since joining the English Premier League four years ago where he won two Premier League titles with Leicester City and Chelsea.
The reports claim that Kante feels he has achieved everything in England after scoping the PFA Player’s Player of the Year for his performances, helping Chelsea to the FA Cup and Europa League success over the last two seasons.
The move will be a blow for Chelsea manager Frank Lampard who had a transfer embargo at the start of the season but he will be able to sign in new faces as the same was lifted last month.
Madrid on the other end is looking to revamp their midfield with Manchester United Paul Pogba another player believed to be on their radar.
