Nothing seems to be going well for Manchester United now, as their long time midfield target Kai Havertz, has decided to stay in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen.
The English club was expected to make a bid for the 20 year-old but this might not be fruitful. The Red Devils failed to bring in a replacement for either Romelu Lukaku or Alexis Sanchez last summer, leaving the club short of options up front this campaign.
According to Sky Sports, the midfielder is committed to seeing out the season with Leverkusen as he is still ‘enjoying’ his time at the BayArena.
Premier League giants Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham have also been keeping close tabs on Havertz, but the Germany international looks set to snub any approaches this winter.
Havertz has been directly involved in 43 goals (26 goals and 17 assists) since his Leverkusen debut and became the youngest player to make 100 Bundesliga appearances at the weekend.
