The Tanzania Dar Derby pitting arch-rivals Yanga SC and Simba SC collected a total amount of Ksh 23.6 Million Futaa has learnt.
The game which ended in a 2-2 draw was attended by 58,400 fans on Saturday 4 January with Simba being the host of the match staged at the National Stadium-Dar Es Salaam.
The tickets for the game went for Ksh 300 for regular seats, Ksh 800 for VIP B and C with VIP A going for Ksh 1200.
In the game, Simba had raced to a 2-0 lead after strikes from Meddie Kagere (penalty) and Deo Kanda but Yanga turned the tide on their side with Mapinduzi Balama and Mohamed Hussein’s own goal earning them a draw.
