Sheffield United's top goalscorer Billy Sharp has reportedly been given the green light to leave Bramall Lane in the ongoing transfer if he is interested in making the move, Sky Sports reported.
English Championship sides Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest are believed to have expressed their interest in Sharp and inquired about his availability.
Nottingham Forest have also expressed their interest in Brighton & Hove Albion striker Glenn Murray as they look to bolster their striking department.
Sharp has only started one game this season for the Blades and will definitely be keen to secure more minutes on the pitch but according to reports, he has not told the club that he wants to leave.
The 33-year-old has scored a whopping 228 goals for Sheffield United in the past 11 seasons - he was also the one who scored the club's first-ever goal in the Premier League that ended in a 1-1 draw to Bournemouth at the start of the 2019/20 season.
Sharp has also made a total of 187 appearances for the Blades in three spells at the club.
