Marcus Rashford has responded after he thought he was the third-youngest player to reach 200 games for Manchester United despite Norman Whiteside achieving that feat at an even younger age.
The Red Devils' mistake was highlighted after Whiteside's wife, Dee highlighted that her husband had hit his double century at a younger age than all three players.
Rashford had already tweeted his pride at following in the footsteps of Giggs and Best in a series of social media posts after Saturday's 4-0 win over Norwich City.
Upon realizing the mistake, Rashford added his recognition of Whiteside on Sunday after learning of the error, writing: "Appreciation tweet for the great Norman Whiteside. Never to be overlooked."

Can’t put into words what it means to follow Giggsy and George Best. Two goals and three points completes a perfect day 👊🏿 pic.twitter.com/X4g72EMH0S
