β˜ οΈπŸ—£ Dr Khoza rebuffs Rhulani rumours with intimidating comments

Orlando Pirates chairman Dr Irvin Khoza has dismissed rumours of Rhulani Mokwena resigning as the club’s assistant coach.

Following Mokwena’s demotion to assistant coach when Pirates appointed Jozef Zinnbauer in December 2019, several reports have claimed that Mokwena has issued a resignation letter.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns’ assistant's absence from the bench has also done little to cast doubt over the rumours…

Asked to confirm or deny the reports, an irritated Khoza said:

“I’m an old man. You can talk to me about rumours. You know me, I don’t talk about rumours. People die because of rumours, so please let us not talk about rumours,” Khoza told IOL.

“I don’t hide anything mina (myself) and why you ask me about rumours? Please don’t phone me and ask me about rumours. I’m an old man. I don’t talk about gossip.”

Comments from the Bucs have assured that Mokwena has instead gone away to Europe to attend a series of coaching workshops.

“You want me to gossip now. If you were saying I’ve got a letter of Rhulani’s resignation then we can talk.

“I’m an old man, I give respect to everyone and I also should be respected. I don’t gossip,” Khoza concluded.
