Manchester United handed massive injury boost as duo available for Liverpool clash

Ahead of their clash against Liverpool, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah are both available.

United are looking to cause a huge upset when they visit Anfield and become the first club to beat Liverpool in the league since April 2017 when they lost to Crystal Palace.

Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah have featured for United's reserve side after returning from long term injuries.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the Liverpool clash, Solskjaer revealed that Fosu-Mensah and Bailly are available for the Liverpool clash, "Axel (Tuanzebe) had a setback but he’s working his way towards fitness.

"Eric (Bailly) and Tim (Fosu-Mensah) are fit and available. Luke (Shaw) is on the training pitch today [Friday] to see how he is.

"He’s been ill and he’s had a little issue. Diogo (Dalot) is back and Marcos (Rojo) is still not ready. He had a bad calf injury that took longer than we expected."

Despite the return of Fosu-Mensah and Bailly, Marcus Rashford's availability is going to be the biggest question ahead of team news dropping on Sunday afternoon.
