Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo lead the football family in mourning the passing of basketball legend Kobe Bryant who tragically passed on Sunday.
The former LA Lakers hero together with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and nine other people died tragically in a helicopter crash, aged just 41.
Bryant was a huge football fan, and the sport has been paying its condolences to the sporting great and father of four.
Messi, posting in Spanish on Instagram, said of the news: “I have no words … All my love for Kobe’s family and friends. It was a pleasure to meet you and share good times together. You were a genius like few others.”
