Polish International striker Robert Lewandowski can't stop breaking records in the Bundesliga.
The Bayern Munich striker has a tendency of scoring freely when he comes against Schalke and he did just that when both teams met over the weekend.
Lewandowski’s goal in the 5-0 win was his 19th in 22 appearances against Schalke with only Wolfsburg (21 goals) having conceded more strikes from the 31-year-old.
It was the ninth meeting in a row that Lewandowski scored against Schalke. Only once before (Klaus Fischer v Stuttgart) has scored in nine consecutive Bundesliga games against the same opponent.
The weekend goal also saw the Polish striker raise his goal tally to 21 (in 19 games) to put him on track for the most prolific Bundesliga season ever.
