Tanzania international Mbwana Samatta has been handed a start in Aston Villa's Carabao Cup clash against Leicester City slated for a 10:45 PM (EAT) at Villa Park.
After completing a £10m move from Genk on a four-and-half-year deal, Samatta has been handed his debut against Leicester.
Jamie Vardy who missed the 2-0 FA Cup win over Wigan Athletic starts from the bench with Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho trusted to lead the line.
The semi-final is evenly poised at 1-1 with the winner set to book a final in the tournament against winner between Manchester City and Manchester United.
