Dani Ceballos unhappy with role at Arsenal

According to reports in England, Dani Ceballos is unhappy with his role under new head coach Mikel Arteta, with the reports suggesting that he is open to a move away from the Emirates before Friday.

The Real Madrid loanee made his first appearance under Arteta from the bench on Monday night against Bournemouth, and featured for only 21 minutes.

Ceballos has not made a Premier League appearance since the start of November, but has been dropping hints on his social media accounts that he could be leaving the club.

As reported by The Athletic, the 23-year-old disagrees with his manager’s claim that he still needs to regain full fitness after his injury lay-off and considers himself 100% fit and ready for matches.

Ceballos also feels like Arteta has not been clear about what he needs to do in order to break into the starting 11.

This is frustrating to the player, given that he moved to England to ensure game-time, ahead of the Euro 2020 with Spain.
