Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Myron Boadu has admitted that it came as a surprise to find out that he is currently a leading top goalscorer in the Eredivisie.
Boadu his 13th goal of the season to help his side beat RKC Waalkijk and keep the title race alive and be on par with Ajax at the top of the table.
"Oh, I thought Idrissi was the same as me. But then I'm very happy," he said after the 4-0 thrashing of Waalkijk.
The 18-year old revealed that one of his ambitions is to finish the 2019/20 season on a high and scoring as many goals as possible.
"Great, but I want to be a top scorer at the end," he said.
"I saw that Calvin Stengs got the ball and Jonas Svensson started to walk. Then I started to walk with a small lead on my opponent.
"First I wanted to grab it with the right, but in the end, the ball got better in front of my left I was happy with the goal," he concluded.
