πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦πŸŒπŸ‘πŸΎ Pitso offers to help Bafana: North Africans treat me like Pep

Absa Premiership coach of the season Pitso Mosimane has invited to collaborate with the South Africa Football Association (SAFA) to help Bafana Bafana.

Mosimane recently piloted Sundowns to another CAF Champions League quarter final thanks to an unbeaten Group stage run. The 2016 CAFCL is also South Africa’s only coach to be named CAF Coach of the Year in 2016.

“It’s unbelievable. You go to Cairo and they respect you. It’s unbelievable I mean who am I? They treat you like they see Pep,” Mosimane said via Goal South Africa.

“I mean I am just a local coach from South Africa but it’s unbelievable the respect and the response I get from them. I don’t know.

“It’s good for my country. It’s good for us, South Africa. They believe in me. They give me a chance. They put me on TV to analyse their games and I don’t even speak Arabic so it’s humbling when you get that and you get respected.

With Bafana Bafana set for fearsome 2021 AFCON qualifiers and 2022 World Cup jobs against nations like Ghana and Zimbabwe, Mosimane has availed himself to act as SAFA’s consultant.

“I need the national team to come up also. We can do this thing. We can do it. If we team up, we come up together and we share resources and information, we can do it.

“You know I am not looking for a post for Bafana. I am focused here. If I wanted it, I could have long made myself available,” Mosimane concluded.
