πŸ”΅πŸ‘‹πŸΎβ€΄οΈ Cape Town City announce the departure of three players

Absa Premiership side Cape Town City has confirmed the exit of three of its attacking footballers.

As previously reported here on Futaa last week, Mark Mayambela left the club while Riyaad Norodien was only a rumoured departure.

The club known as the Citizens announced the departures of Mayambela, Norodien as Shaquille Abrahams this morning.

“City winger Shaquille Abrahams has joined Cape Umoya FC on loan until the end of the season. The Club has also parted ways with Riyaad Norodien and Mark Mayambela.

We thank them for their service to the club and wish them all the best for the next chapter.”

Meanwhile, the club could be signing a free agent striker soon. Kermit Erasmus suffered a lengthy injury while Siphelele Mthembu looks ill-fitting for Jan Jan Olde Riekerink’s game. Another club striker is Tashreeq Morris but he remains injured. Or wll Dutch forward Chris David prove as the striking solution?
