Absa Premiership powerhouse Orlando PIrates are in Thohoyandou to face a relegation-fighting Black Leopards today.
Pirates are unbeaten in nine league games - since losing to Kaizer Chiefs in November last year. Coach Josef Zinnbauer and his in-form striker, Gabadinho Mhango, are both fresh from winning the PSL Coach and Player of the Month gongs.
Leopards have just one win in eight league games - therefore unsurprisingly sit third from the bottom of the Absa Premiership. The last meeting between Bucs and Lidoda Duvha was Zinnbauer’s debut in December 2019 which Pirates won 3-1. But hat game did not have former Pirates duo Thabo Matlaba and Edwin Gymah in the Leopards team like this afternoon.
